Disease-focused Programs

HITI research efforts to date have been supported by the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust,  and have focused on two autoimmune diseases, Crohn's Disease and Type 1 Diabetes. In both cases, novel methods were used to assemble groups of investigators with diverse areas of expertise and novel approaches to studying these diseases. Read more
