This is a 5-laser  system. Lasers include 349 nm UV, 405 nm Violet, 488 nm Blue, 561 nm YellowGreen and 637 nm Red. 78 total detectors allow for 40 color panels. The machine is housed in a biosafety cabinet and supports sorting BioSafety Level 2 samples.

The 488nm laser is used for all imaging channels. Imaging channels include three fluorescent detectors (534/26 nm, 598/60 nm and 788/255 nm) as well as side-scatter, forward-scatter and lightloss. Each imaging channel has several features which are calculated for a given cell, see below for more details.

For 6-way sorting, 1.5ml or 5ml tubes can be used. 15ml tubes can be used for 2-way sorting. There is also an non-uniform tube holder. 96-well plates with index sorting is also available. The sample can be cooled during sorting.
